16th Annual Puttin' on the Ritz

The Active 20-30 club is excited to announce that this year's black tie optional event will be held at the beautiful and recently expanded Fort Wayne Museum of Art on Saturday, March 10, 2012. Guests will be treated to wine and beer tasting, silent and live auctions, heavy hors d'oeuvres from local restaurants accompanied by complimentary beer and wine. Live music will be presented throughout the evening so you can dance the night away.

Funds raised from Puttin' on the Ritz are utilized to support our philanthropic and hands on events held throughout the year. Our signature philanthropic event is our Active 20-30 Children's Shopping Spree held in August of each year. Over the past two years alone, the Fort Wayne Club has provided over 145 children from local agencies with their back-to-school needs. The children are accompanied by Active 20-30 Club members who assist them in picking out new clothes for the coming school year. In addition to the clothes selected by each child they are also provided with a backpack filled with school supplies to ensure their needs are met. While the shopping spree is our largest event, the Active 20-30 Club also sponsors and participates in hands-on activities where children from local organizations are treated to events including carnivals, pumpkin carving, game nights, Christmas parties and days at the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo. In the past we have partnered with several organizations such as the Euell Wilson Center, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Vincent House, Camp Watcha Wanna-Do, Erin's House and The Boys and Girls Club.

Everything that the Active 20-30 Club of Fort Wayne does for the children in our community is made possible by our sponsors. To continue our mission we are asking for your sponsorship of the 16th Annual Puttin’ on the Ritz fundraiser.
